Who I am

I have two adult children who I raised alone from a young age, meaning I can understand and identify with the challenges and difficulties that children can face. Alongside this, I can identify with the rainbow of emotions they go through around absent parents and divorce.

I served as a Parish Councillor in Willingham from 2004 – 2010. During this time, I served and chaired the Cemetery Committee, I also served on the Halls and Planning committees. This was a role that requires diplomacy, confidentiality and compassion when dealing with local parishioners, friends and neighbours.

As a Parish Councillor, I worked with the litter working party and this is still an environmental issue I care about.

I was a Willingham Parish Council nominated trustee of the Willingham British School Trust until 2013 and served as a committee member and minute taker.

I was a parent helper for 1st Willingham Scout Group from 2003 – 2010, during this time I served as a committee member and minute taker.

My previous experiences means I will bring you respect and a duty of care to you, so that you can feel confident whilst you are in my cabin.

Hobbies

My interests are artistic and I have run several different art clubs in schools. I enjoy card making with a special interest in Iris card folding and you should know I am fascinated about Area 51 and what might go on inside that secret base.
