Most people who know me, know that my place is Felixstowe.
I go to my very special place as it’s the place that allows me to feel calm and be the happiest I can be and can take me away from stressful situations just by thinking about it.
I anchored this so that I can be transformed to Felixstowe in my mind, smelling the sea air, hearing the seagulls overhead and seeing the big ships and small yachts come into port.
Anchoring is a useful NLP technique which produces a state of mind or emotion, like happiness or relaxation. Usually using a touch, word or gesture to “anchor” the desired emotion to create a link by association. This can then be used at any time it’s needed.
